Countdown

I'm spending my New Year's Eve with my two best friends in the whole entire world!! I'm so excited. Although we have to dress "fancy" which might be a problem since I don't have many fancy tops. QQ

Today my mom called me at 10am which I was not awake for. So I called her back afterwards and she told me to go on QQ so we could webcam since she needed to show me some dresses. So I went on but she was not on. I called her back and she was like the connection is really bad so she told me to wait 15 minutes and if she still wasn't on she told me to call her back. I waited for a few minutes and then finally came on. We chatted for a bit, I got to see most of my cousins and it was really nice. She told me to do more chores like water the plants :p and some other not important stuff. Anyways it was just really nice seeing them. House Cleaning

I can't believe I forgot to post again! Yesterday I did all my chores. I vacuumed  did the dishes and folded all the clothes. And believe me there were a pretty big pile of clothes. I obviously multitask-ed while folding the clothes so I watched the movie Insomnia. It was a pretty an okay movie not the best that I've seen but whatever. As I was folding the clothes a weird thing happened. We have a mattress standing up and it leans against the pole but at that time it start to fall over and it was so heavy I couldn't do anything! My dad also sprained his back so he couldn't help. He told me to leave it alone till he got better. But being a stubborn child I couldn't do that, so after 15 minutes of struggling I managed to fix it. Anyways it was just a very busy day in all. Peace out and stay tuned.

East Side Mario's

At 11:50am my friends (twins), called me and asked me if they wanted me to join them for lunch. They were having lunch with her mom and her closest friend P. P has a 10 year old and also 5 or 6 year old twin boys. It was like two pairs of twins which was really cool :p Anyways we got their 15 minutes earlier so their mom dropped us off and told us to get a table for 8 and off to the side so it will be quiet. Their mom went for a quick look at Melanie Lynn. We look at the menu and me and F decided to order Penne Arrabiata and Z ordered Margarita Pizza. Her mom came, and she order the penne arrabiata as well. She then called P and asked her what she wanted and I wrote it down on my phone. Her mom loved my phone! Anyways they finally arrived and the food came shortly afterwards. P was so funny she kept on cracking up the whole table and her kids were so adorable. At first glance the twins were identical looking but then it turns out they were fraternal twins. We looked at them again and we realized they were different L was chubbier than M. And L got mad if you said that in front of him. S had an ipod and he had this app called Movie effects which takes a picture of you but then blows it up afterwards and it was so funny. He kept on killing everyone. L kept on going to the bathroom, I swear he went like 7 times. The food was really good and then we had dessert. The dessert was heavenly. We ordered a funnel cake and P ordered fried pizza dough which tasted really good! We then went to the dollar store because the kids love the dollar store. They went a little crazy in there but that's okay they are still cute. We said our goodbyes and then we went to my friends moms workplace. We met all the staff and they were all so friendly. Afterwards, we went to No Frills and did a quick run. Anyways it was a good day so peace out and stayed tuned.

Salt

Today my friend and I went over to the twins house to give them their gifts!! It started snowing last night so most of the sidewalks and driveways still had snow. It was also very slippery because no one put salt on top.  It was good though because thankfully we didn't slip :p I got home and then I watched Salt!! I love this movie, and I love Angelina Jolie. She is so beautiful and she looked pretty good with dark hair. I watched this movie already when I was on the plane, but that was two years ago so I'm glad I re-watched it because I forgot most of the things that happened. Afterwards Live Free or Die Hard was on. I tried to watch it but I was so sleepy so I fell asleep half way through. I was suppose to do my ISU for Cat`s Eye by Margaret Atwood but I kept on procrastinating. It sucks because it is a group project so my friend wants is by tomorrow morning even though the project is not due till mid January.. Whatever I'll cram everything tonight. Anyways I got to go start this project so peace out and stay tuned.

Boxing Day

Successful day of shopping today!! The deals were not that great as Black Friday, but they were still okay. I spent some quality time with my dad so that was very nice. Haven't had one of those in a while. I hope everyone bought many things and took advantage of these deals!! Now i'm packing some belated holiday gifts :p Oh and I forgot to mention that I got season 4 of gossip girl!!! I cannot wait to start watching it again. I'm surprised it is so thin because season two was humongous. I also had such a delicious dinner! All we did was eat out today and bought take out food. YUM. I'm so not looking forward to start doing work tomorrow :( Anyways peace out and stay tuned.

Merry Christmas!!!

It's the most wonderful time of the year.I hope everyone is having a lovely Christmas by their warm cozy fireplace near their beautiful decorated Christmas tree!! I hope everyone receives many presents from Santa ;) I hope everyone is spending quality time with their friends and family!! Anyone going boxing day shopping?? I'm feeling much better which I am so glad. Also I would like to congratulate my cousin Jackl and his wife to a beautiful and long lasting marriage. Pain

Omg that was the most painful thing I have ever experiences. My stomach felt like it would explode and I couldn't even move. I have no idea what that was but hopefully I will never experience it again. That was the third time I have experienced this pain, I think. Anyways I hope I get better by Christmas!! The Green Hornet

I am still so sick!! I watched the Green Hornet today and it was a pretty good movie. I love how this was written by Seth Rogen and he turned out to play the main character as well. I also love how Jay Chou the actor for Kato was in the movie. I first saw Jay Chou in the movie Secret. Although it was in Chinese, and I didn't understand one word of it, I the subtitles and it was such a good movie to watch. It was one of those romance movies but it had time travel which was very epic. And it so well done, that you don't even realize until near the end. Needless, to say it definitely made me cry. I am so glad to see him doing some other movies in English. Anyways peace out and stay tuned.

LOL

So today I woke up at 10am because I had to do my math exam. We got their 30 minutes early which was good because the exam was so long and hard and we needed the extra time. We skipped 3 questions which were out of 14 marks and the whole test was out of 70 marks so basically assuming we got perfect the highest mark we could get was 80%. Which im not really happy about but whatever. Anyways I got home and did some chores and then I decided to watch the movie LOL. LOL is a movie about the life of Lola played by Miley Cyrus. It was a good movie and I'm glad I watched it. I then took a long nap because I'm sick right now :'(. And omg my dad came home early today. He came home at 8:30 so we had dinner together. It was a good day and I'm so glad I'm done with math. Grade 12 advanced functions wI'll be the death of me. Anyways peace out and stay tuned.

End of the World

Woot woot I'm so happy :) It's the first day of this much needed winter break and supposedly the end of the world!! Although this is total bullshit since we are all still alive. I am very embarrassed to say that I actually believed it due to the fact that everyone kept on telling me that the Mayan's predicted this which it turns out they didn't. When I found out they didn't I automatically knew this was fake, but it doesn't count for the fact that I still believed in it... Anyways I am so glad that I managed to finish my scrapbook assignment although my teacher didn't receive it through her email which was weird, but whatever I emailed it to her back again. To celebrate, me and my friends went to the new Yogurty's built in the new plaza near our school. Students from our school get 10% off on Friday's we just have to show them our student I.D card. Which of course, when I paid I forgot to show them LOL. I had a mix of cappuccino and waffle flavour yogurt which didn't really taste that good. I also put sour worms but they were really hard which basically meant that they were old. So it was not a very good experience but I enjoyed hanging out with my best friends. And a bonus was that they played my favourite song on the radio! Kiss you inside out by Hedley <33333 After we left, my friend gave me the most delicious poppy seed loaf ever with the funniest catch phrase: "All you need is love, to be able to breathe and M's poppy seed loaf" I won't use her full name so I will just stick with her first initial. Then me and my friend hung out at my house until her sister picked her up. Her blackberry was dying so I lent her my charger to try. I remember my friend telling me that LG chargers work for blackberry's so I gave her my old charger but it didn't fit. So then I tried my samsung galaxy s3 charger and it fit perfectly!! She left and then my other friend texted me if I wanted to do math together. On a Friday night??? I thought she was crazy but then we decided to do our exam the next day so we actually had to finish the review package, so she came over at like 7:30 and we finished around 1 :p Almost 6 full hours of math, way too crazy and my friends were shocked that we did so much! Let's just say we were pretty dead by the end of it. Wish us the best of luck!! Anyways peace out and stay tuned.

Scrapbook Assignment

I'm so screwed because I have to finish my whole project due tomorrow  This is my fault for always being a procrastinator. My friend was like we will be zombie twins tomorrow LOL. We had to basically find two articles for each month and then write a summary, relate it back to economics, and finally comment on the article. It started from October to December. So being me of course I only found 1 article and I had to find the rest today and do my write up for each one which was gonna take me hours. Good thing I decided to do an online one because it saved a lot of time, and materials and I for sure am not creative but I am good with electronics and online stuff. Anyways I will be up very late doing this assignment :P One more day till freedom!!

The Art of Getting By

So today I watched the movie The Art Of Getting By. Emma Roberts and Freddie Highmore are phenomenal actors. This movie is about a trouble boy named George who has trouble finding motivation in his life. He doesn't feel the need do homework or to make friends. He meets this girl name Sally and now he has a reason to do everything. I love this movie so much. It is very easy to relate to, there's just something about this movie. Now on to the actors. Emma Roberts is one of my all time favourite actresses', I loved her when she was in Aquramarine, Nancy Drew, Unfabulous, Wild Child (one of my favourite movies ever), Hotel for dogs, It's Kind of a funny story, scream 4 and now this. I've heard that she is a little bitchy and spoiled but I still love her. Freddie Highmore on the other hand, I clearly remember him as Charile from Charlie and the chocolate factory, or Jared/Simon from The spiderwick chronicles. Anyways I just love him from my childhood movies. Overall, this was a fantastic movie that I highly suggest everyone go watch!! Peace out and stay tuned.

Home alone....basically

My mom and my brother went on vacation this morning so now it's only me and my dad! They are going for a little over three weeks. I have no idea how I am suppose to survive since my dad comes home so late. I actually have to cook and clean and do housework lol. Well technically two weeks is winter break so that won't be too bad. I hope they have a safe flight. I love going on planes and getting the perks to watch all those movies and it is just so fun!! Gossip Girl Series Finale

Today was the series finale of my absolute favourite show in the world. I've been watching this show since 2007. I have read all the books. I own seasons one and two on DVD and I'm definitely planning on getting them all. This show was about the lives of Serena, Blair, Nate, Chuck and Dan. Over the years we've seen them graduate highschool, college, get jobs, get married and many sub plots were folded into the episodes. But the one question that everyone has been asking was, "Who is Gossip Girl?" and they finally revealed it, in this epic series finale. It was a perfect ending because it didn't leave us hanging, it didn't make us wonder what happened to most of these character. It showed every character and their ending even about characters that were not on the show anymore. I found it really special that they got Kristen Bell to be on the show with Rachel B. Kristen is the sexy voice of gossip girl, she is the one that does the voice overs. I am so glad that Chuck and Blair ended up together after finally marrying they got a kid named Henry. They named him that after when Chuck got shot he gave himself that name which I thought was very special and sweet. I can't believe Serena and Dan got married!! Like they were cute together but I never thought they would end up together. I always wanted Serena to end up with sexy Nate (Chace Crawford). They look like the perfect couple and would make beautiful babies. Ryan is lucky to have Blake as his wife!! Back to gossip girl now! I love Serena's wedding dress because it was so sentimental since it looked like it was made up of her two famous dresses on the show. Her contaillion dress and the white dress that Dan loved. And now to the biggest part ever. Who is Gossip Girl??? I always thought it was Dorota or Jenny or Nelly Yuki. I thought it was Dan at some point too, but I dismissed the idea since I thought it was impossible. It turns out it was really Dan!!!!! All this time gossip girl was not a girl but in fact a boy. And for it to be DAN????????? How was that possible??? But it makes sense to me now. Dan has always been a writer and he constantly check the site. I was not really happy with this but whatever it was a great show. I love the name for the episode which was "New York, I Love You" Now what am I suppose to do without gossip girl??? Get a life?? LOL. Seems like all the good things are ending in my senior year.... Anyways peace out and stay tuned.

Survivor Season Finale

OMG its the season finale of survivor phillipines!! This was a very good season since I love the returning players, Jonathon Penner, Russel Swan and Scoopa!!! My favourite players were Penner, Denise and Malcolm!! Denise and Malcolm have made it so far!! They had never won a challenge when they were in their original three tribes and yet they've lasted so far. I also love Carter and Abi. Even though Abi was evil!! She made the show so entertaining. I will always remember when she bought the clue to the immunity challenge for $500 and she told that there were two messages even though there was only one. And then she ripped up the paper into small pieces so that "no one could read the second message". It was brilliant and hilarious. I was so sad when Penner got voted out. I loved the moment when he was writing down the name that he wanted to be eliminated and usually you do it in secret but he yelled "Denise" which made it obvious and hilarious! Overall a very good season. I was so glad that Denise won the title of sole survivor because she really deserved it! She was smart and she was nice and one hell of a competitor!! Triple Threat!! I didn't watch the reunion which is strange for me but I'm sure I didn't miss much. I cannot wait for next season of survivor!!! Anyways peace out and stay tuned.

Rant

Had a good rant today. I went over to my best friends house and we basically just chilled in her living room, drinking coffee! We talked about our issues and it just felt nice to get everything off my chest. I love her so much!! She is such a good friend and we just enjoy each other's company. The Handmaid's Tale

I can't believe I forgot to write a post last night! :(

So I'll just pretend it is still the 13th! I think I forgot to write a post because I had too much homework and I was so tired. Oh right I had that huge essay I think. My novel study essay that I hope I did really good on because I need my english mark to go up from a 77. This is so sad since I was at an 88 but dropped 10% from one assignment that I chocked on. It's all my fault :( There's really not much to write but I really can't believe that I missed a day. This is very disappointing because I was so into not missing a day and writing every single day for as long as I can. I hope I won't ever miss a day again!! Anyways peace out and stay tuned.

Hamlet

We started Hamlet today and my teacher was so excited. We watched the movie with subtitles on the bottom, and so far it is really good! I actually think that this unit is going to be a lot of fun, and hopefully it is easy as well because I really need to bring my mark back into the 80's. I went to private school in the evening and we had to do an assignment. At first, I sat next to my best friend because we came late but then I moved to the back with my other friends because they are so smart and obviously I need help with math :p She gave us like 50+ trig identity questions and she expected us to finish it in 2 hours!! We obviously only was able to do the first row which was questions 23-49. So the rest would be for review.

When I got home I ate the most delicious brownie in the world. This is surprising because I don't like chocolate but luckily this brownie had chocolate and something else so it masked the taste and I loved it sooo much. I hope mommy brings another one tomorrow!!

Now the real focus today is on my essay that I still don't have the thesis for!! This is fantastic, it is due tomorrow at midnight and I am sooo screwed. After tomorrow, I am just gonna enjoy myself and relax :D

Jam Van

Today we had a guest speaker in my entrepreneurship class. His name was Gary and his business was the Jam Van. Basically they advertise and sell merchandise in this big van :p It was really cool, and I learned a lot. He asked this question "Why did you guys choose to take entrepreneurship?" and I told Nicole "Because marketing was full" which I thought was pretty clever and true LOL. At lunch, I got my teacher to look over my essay and I'm glad I did that because I realized I did it all wrong and she gave me some good ideas, but I am still having trouble coming out with a thesis that is debatable. Hopefully I can think of one tonight and then ask her to look it over tomorrow. Anyways it was just a good day in all. I hope my mom buys a tumbler for my cousin today from starbucks because they have their 12 Days of Gifting promotion and basically today, if you buy a tumbler you get a free grande drink :D Gotta love starbucks! <3 Anyways, I got to go work on my essay now. Nice Day

Today was a relatively good day :) I did nothing in school because in first period we had conferences on our ISU book. My group is doing the book Cat's Eye by Margaret Atwood. It is a splendid book about bullying and the friendship between Elaine and Cordeilla. I'm analyzing it through a feminist critical lens and I hope I do a good job because I really need to bring my mark up! Second and third period my teacher was away so we had a supply teacher. The funny thing is she left us to work on our Be an Advisor project that is due on Wednesday, but she didn't book a computer lab so we couldn't work on it since we needed the computers. So then we decided to watch Dragon's Den but of course the projector is broken so we had no idea what to do. Luckily, a teacher helped us find a projector and we watched the first episode of the first season. It was very good.

I had private school later in the evening. We were doing 3D problems like the ones with the ferris wheel and then we also start trig identities which I absolutely hate. It was a good thing I sat next to the smartest girl. She did everything so fast and she can explain it well. She's also soooo talented in drawing! My mom was picking us up that day and my friend was like "oh good, I hope she brings food. I love your mom because she always brings us food" LOL I think I died there. It's true my mom is the best, she always gives us food and she is sooo kind. It sucked though because Marina, my teacher, didn't have my report card. Hopefully she will have it on Wednesday because I need to give it to the school. Anyways I got to go. Peace out and stay tuned.

Belated Birthday!

Today my friends and I finally celebrated my best friends birthday!! Her birthday was at the end of November but we couldn't celebrate then because she had already made plans. We went to the mall and she got to pick out whatever she wanted. We came an hour before her, so that we could all sign the card, and then later we met up with her at H&M. We headed to Garage and there were these two guys who were really creepy looking. I overheard one of them say "she's the one" and the other guy was like "no let's not do them" so I got creeped out and made my friend go into the store. I was glad because I found a really nice sweater inside but it costed $40 which was way above my budget. She chose two crop tops and a really nice pair of high waisted burgundy jeans all from American Apparel. I was dying at the store because it was so hot. Afterwards we went to the food court and got chinese food and pizza. It was actually really yummy. Surprisingly we saw many people from our school there. Overall it was a very successful day. I hope she had a lot of fun, because I sure did. I can't wait to watch the amazing race and 666 park avenue tonight. I'm so sad that the season finale for revenge was last weekend :( Anyways got to go take a shower so peace out and stay tuned.

Frustration

Do you ever get the feeling when you are just so frustrated and you can't do anything about it? Well that is what I'm feeling right now. Frustrated on writing my essay, frustrated because of my brother, frustrated because my mom just doesn't understand that I won't be able to go tomorrow because I'm busy.

This essay has taken me the whole day to write and I'm no where near close. I have written 254/1000 words and now i'm stuck because I have no idea what to talk about. As well, I'm still worried about my thesis because it doesn't sound like a good thesis.

I hope I can finish all of this today so I can go out to celebrate my best's friends birthday tomorrow. Even though her birthday was last week...

Welcome to My Life

Yesterday I was too hyped up so I didn't get to introduce myself. So I would like to start off this post with a little introduction. My name is Rena, I'm 17 years old, and I was born and raised in Canada. I have fantastic parents and an annoying younger brother. I'm in my last year of high school and it's stressing me so much. I wished I started this blog sooner.

Now on to some random facts about me :) I am a huge tv junkie. Some of my favourites are gossip girl, revenge, big brother, survivor, the vampire diaries, the walking dead, revolution, dexter, pretty little liars, the amazing race, 666 park avenue, criminal minds, degrassi, awkard, and desperate housewives. I also love to watch movies horror and comedy are my favourite genres. The Count of Monte Cristo is my favourite movie of all time and if you haven't watched it yet, I suggest you get on to that ASAP.

I'm a huge love of animals, food, sleep, and music. I collect special coins, and I gotta say my collection is pretty damn impressive :') I love to read books and I cry easily. My favourite foods are sushi, oatmeal cookies, and pizza! I love to drink coffee and especially love the vanilla bean frappuchino from starbucks. My favourite band is Hedley and I would die to meet them one day <3333

I love to explore and I wish to travel the world some day. Here's a list of some of the crazy things I hope to do before I die :D

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

This week has been incredibly crazy and terrible. My English mark dropped from a 88 to a 78 from just one assignment. My novel study tutorial. I don't know what happened. I had all my notes ready, I did a lot of research, but whenever I tried to open my mouth, no words would come out.. I knew I was going to get a mark I would regret, but I never thought I would drop so much. I cried for a few minutes, and my teacher said not to worry about it because she believed I could go up. But I didn't have faith in myself. A few days later I got my essay back which I almost failed so I dropped another 2%. I know I need to pick it back up, but I just don't know what to do anymore. I started thinking about university. With such a low mark, there is no way I will get into Schulich school of business or my number one choice: Wilfred Laurier. In fact, I don't think I will be able to get into any university that I wanted. I just don't know what to do..

Today I decided to watch the movie Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. It was such a good movie. I was crying throughout the whole movie. I felt connected to Oskar. In case anyone is wondering, the movie is about a nine year old kid named Oskar Schel. He searches for a lock that fits the key he thinks his father has left for him. His father died in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. He meets many people during his phenomenal journey. At the end of the movie, tears would not stop coming down my face. This is definitely one of my favourite movies now.

This is my first post but I was hoping to do more of an introduction. Maybe I will do one tomorrow. I'm hoping to write a new post every day, we'll see how that goes. Maybe I will actually finish something for once? Anyways peace out and stay tuned.
